Senior Production Designer - FULL-TIME & 5 days on site

This is a print heavy role - Expertise in InDesign and agency experience is a MUST!

Location: Dania Beach, FL

On-Site requirement: 5 days per week (no exceptions)

Rate / Salary Range: $65-$70K

Timeline for hire: 3 rounds of interviews, ideally hiring within the month or so

Position Overview

Our agency client is seeking a Senior Production Designer to join their team FULL-TIME! This role is on-site 5 days per week in Dania Beach, FL. The Senior Production Designer is responsible for transforming conceptual and strategic ideas into precise mechanical files. Our client is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and collaborative team members who are eager to learn, grow, and actively contribute to the success of their company.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to established design style guides, templates, and tutorials to produce a variety of creative assets, including layouts, covers, logos, and marketing materials.

Develop and refine creative styles, cover designs, and marketing templates.

Execute design projects that align with client objectives and brand standards.

Apply detailed corrections to creative and marketing materials based on feedback from clients, content partners, or internal teams.

Tone and retouch grayscale and color photographs to meet quality standards.

Perform pre-press tasks such as pre-flighting files and generating press-ready PDFs.

Support supervisors and team members with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience in print design.

5-7 years of relevant professional experience.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Exceptional attention to detail, especially when following templates and instructions.

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (primary tool) in addition to Photoshop and Illustrator

Strong understanding of typography, including font pairing and layout principles.

Experience with PDF prepress workflows and pre-flight checks.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Familiarity with color correction techniques.

Basic understanding of image resolution, file formats, and compression.

Ability to manage complex design projects independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
