Job Summary:
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems and exterior home features (such as siding, gutters, windows, and doors), as well as supporting all production activities of the brand. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential and/or light commercial construction, is detail-oriented, and delivers high-quality workmanship with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform service calls for repairs on roofs (shingle, metal, flat), siding, gutters, and other exterior components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose roofing and exterior issues; recommend appropriate repairs.
Conduct minor repairs and small projects independently or as part of a small crew.
Use ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses in compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain clear documentation of service work performed, materials used, and jobsite photos.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and scope of repairs.
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with building codes.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.
Assist in ordering materials and picking up supplies as needed.
Report job status, delays, and changes promptly to the office or supervisor.
Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience in roofing, exterior remodeling, or related trades.
Proficiency in roofing systems (shingles, flashing, underlayment, etc.).
Basic knowledge of siding, gutters, fascia, soffits, and general carpentry.
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read work orders, take measurements, and use power tools safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with insurance claim repairs and storm restoration.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and carry materials up and down ladders.
Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Compensation:
Starting pay range for this position is $24-29/hour, based on a variety of factors. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match, paid company holidays, and paid time off.
