Direct Counsel is seeking a Technology & Transactions Associate to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in data, digital services, outsourcing, and software transactions, including SaaS, AI, data analytics, cloud subscriptions, ITO/BPO managed services, digital collaborations, and software agreements. This practice represents leading companies and financial institutions in high-value technology contracts and initiatives and has been recognized as a global leader by Chambers and Legal 500.Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on complex technology transactions, including cloud services, AI, and outsourcing agreements.

Draft and negotiate SaaS, software licensing, development, and implementation agreements.

Support digital collaborations and data analytics initiatives for global clients.

Work on high-value technology contracts for major corporations and financial institutions.Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Class of 2020 to 2022).

Strong academic credentials.

Relevant sophisticated law firm experience in technology and transactions.

Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $260,000 – $365,000 (for JD classes 2020–2022). Actual salary may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Annual bonus eligibility based on individual performance and firm metrics.
