Position Summary

We are expanding our finance team and seeking a Senior Cost and Financial Analyst to join our Hunt Valley team. This is a key contributor role with strong visibility across the business unit, providing both Cost Accounting and FP&A support. The ideal candidate will combine technical financial skills with business acumen and effective communication, playing a vital role in both operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Accounting

Track manufacturing costs through ERP and production systems

Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overheads, and monitor and analyze monthly manufacturing variances

Calculate overhead, labor, and absorption rates

Support inventory valuation, proposal costing, and gross margin analysis

Coordinate physical inventory along with Supply Chain, and perform follow-up inventory reconciliation

Collaborate on product pricing and operational cost planning

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Prepare department-level financial reports and forecasts

Lead monthly variance analysis and reporting cycles

Partner with business leaders on long-term budgeting and capital planning and project IRR analysis

Track and close CIP projects timely

Deliver ad hoc financial models and scenario planning as needed

Support integration with Jabil’s financial systems and global reporting standards

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

5+ years in a cost accounting or FP&A role, ideally in a manufacturing or pharma environment

Experience with SAP (strongly preferred), Coupa and advanced Excel

Knowledge of ERP cost flows, inventory, and standard costing

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptable and collaborative, able to work across functions and with executive stakeholders
