Calibration Technician

Salary: $23/hr

Location: Clearwater, FL 34458

Industry: Defense/Industrial

Schedule: 1st Shift; May require Overtime during the week and every third Saturday

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Requirements:

HS Diploma or equivalent required. Some college or background in engineering or technology desired.

0-2+ years of relevant experience in metrology, calibration, or similar field.

Familiarity with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) work desired

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Must have attention to detail and be quality oriented.

Steel toed shoes are required and provided.

Physical Requirements: Lifting is generally 10-15lbs with minimal repetitions.

Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities:

Calibrates instruments to meet established conformance standards.

Tests instrument accuracy and makes adjustments as necessary.

May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
