Job Description

Position: Diesel Technician

Pay: $30/hr - $37/hr + Commission

Shift: 1st with OT

Location: Hilliard, OHJob Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks following manufacturer-specified procedures.

Diagnose vehicle failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling components.

Inspect critical parts to ensure proper functionality.

Develop repair plans based on diagnostic results.

Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., work orders, state and emission inspection documentation) promptly.

Adhere to company and industry safety standards.Qualifications:

3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.

Knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting of diesel engines.

Proficiency in equipment installation, standard maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Experience with Carrier or Thermo King refrigeration maintenance and repair is a plus.

Basic welding, brazing, and use of oxygen/acetylene torches.

Clean driving record.

CDL and/or forklift certification is a plus.Company Benefits:
