Overview:
Our client, a nationally recognized and highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Litigation Associate to join their Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney with 2 to 4 years of post-law school experience in civil litigationideally with a focus on community association matters. The position offers a growth-oriented environment, direct client interaction, and the chance to work alongside some of the leading practitioners in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and interpret contracts, community association documents, and corporate governance materials.
Independently manage litigation matters, including collections, covenant enforcement, violations, and related disputes for community associations.
Advise Community Association Boards and property managers on legal and corporate governance matters.
Conduct legal research and craft case strategies that align with client goals.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
Provide timely, professional responses to client inquiries and maintain strong client communication throughout case progression.
Qualifications:
24 years of civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred).
Active member of the Florida Bar.
Prior experience in community association litigation strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently with light supervision.
Demonstrated commitment to client service and career development within a nationally respected platform.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $135,000$155,000 (commensurate with experience)
