Job Description:

We Are Seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer to support project development and maintenance efforts within a transportation-focused IT environment. This role involves working within an Agile team to develop, test, and deploy software solutions across the full technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with exposure to front-end frameworks and UI/UX collaboration. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive learning mindset are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and resource managers to deliver software solutions.

Work on an Agile development team to organize sprints, participate in stand-ups, and contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle.

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

Implement and maintain front-end components using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery and Bootstrap.

Participate in UI/UX design discussions and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Work with relational databases, primarily Oracle (12C/19C), to design and implement backend logic.

Create and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and logs using tools such as JUnit and Log4j.

Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to resolve issues and improve performance.

Contribute to reporting capabilities using tools like Jasper Reports or Crystal Reports when applicable.

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience with full-stack Java development using tools such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio.

2+ years of front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

2+ years of experience using the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data.

2+ years of experience with JPA or Hibernate.

2+ years of Agile development experience.

2+ years of experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, and Data Tables.

2+ years of experience using jQuery and jQuery UI.

2+ years of experience with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C.
