Overview
The Systems Analyst (SA) will support and optimize key Property Management Systems (PMS), with a focus on platforms such as Oracle Opera Cloud and Agilysys LMS. This role is critical in ensuring system reliability, coordinating small projects, and assisting the IT hospitality team with day-to-day operations and planning.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide advanced support for PMS applications, focusing on issue resolution, performance optimization, and system availability.
Monitor, analyze, and review application and system logs to proactively identify issues or areas for improvement.
Assist with the coordination and delivery of small to mid-size hospitality IT projects, including timelines, testing, and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate with business users and vendors to gather technical requirements and ensure proper system configuration and integration.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, change records, and standard operating procedures related to PMS environments.
Support the IT team in maintaining project tracking systems and ensuring key milestones are documented and met.
Act as a liaison between IT and hotel operations teams to facilitate clear communication and ensure system alignment with operational needs.
Assist with quality assurance efforts during application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when necessary.
Qualifications
A university degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
On-call rotation requiring a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Willingness to carry the company phone for on-call rotation schedule to support end users.
Willingness to travel as deemed necessary by IT Management (national & international).
3-4 years PMS (Opera Cloud and/or Agilysys LMS) application and hardware experience, Micros preferred
3-4 years of experience in Hospitality applications preferred
Basic understanding of project management.
Ability to travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally
