Job Description

Micro Welding Operator: Responsible for executing a wide array of weld operations with precision and meticulous attention to detail. The primary objective is to ensure the accurate production of welded components while adhering to stringent quality standards and operational protocols.

Responsibilities:

Use proper techniques for handling small parts and monitor tooling wear to maintain equipment quality standards.

Perform basic setup for various welding configurations, such as seams, endcaps, flanges, rings, and tacking.

Setup and tear down equipment according to safety guidelines and operational requirements.

Perform designated operations as per drawing/ work order requirements.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including part numbers, quantities, methods used, and any issues encountered.

Communicate with supervisor, quality control personnel, and other team members to address workflow issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Location: Wayland, MI – Manufacturing Facility

Category: Non-exempt employee, full time

Shift: First (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)

Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:

Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.

Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)

Must be able to remain seated for extended periods

Must be able to operate shop resources with arms and hands

Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana

Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working

Safety:

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, promptly reporting concerns and leading by example in PPE usage and safety procedures.
