Job Summary:
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to specifications. This role ensures accuracy, quality, and safe operation of all assigned equipment.Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines according to work orders and blueprints
Select and install proper tooling and dies
Inspect parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for precision
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety procedures
Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issuesQualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience operating press brake machines (1–3 years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Familiarity with metal types and forming techniques
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
