Job Description
Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of The Upper Room. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, facility needs, and programs.
Duties
Direct and coordinate activities of agency programs.
Perform reviews of programs and efficiencies.
Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions.
Direct non program functions such as reporting and scheduling.
Work on projects related to new facilities with the development team.
Oversee programs Annual Plans.
Support staff who oversee facilities management. Including service contractors and vendors.
Review financial statements, program activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
Direct administrative activities directly related to programs and facilities as they relate to the current strategic plan.
Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.
Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures with appropriate organization officials, or staff members.
Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation.
Plan or direct activities such as performance reviews and evaluation, that require coordination with other department managers.
Work with Development for agency projects and growth
Develop Marketing Plans and strategies
Implement organizational process and policy change
Determine Resource needs
Provide basic information to guests, visitors, or clients
Facilitate programs as needed
Requirements
4 Year Degree in related field
Must have 3 + years prior work in nonprofits
Prior Management experience
Detail oriented work plans
Must be flexible
Will need to be able to work evenings and an occasional weekend event
Strong professional boundaries
Prior training in organizational management and operations
Nice To Haves
Prior experience with FRC's
Prior training in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing
Familiar with local resources and services locally
Understanding of Standards of Quality and the process to maintain such
Prior experience managing a program like the ones offered at The Upper Room
