JOB DESCRIPTION: Substance Use Disorder Recovery Mentor

TIME COMMITMENT: 24-32 Hours

PAY: $17-$19/hr

We are hiring two candidates, one for each of the schedules listed below:

Monday, Wedesday, and Friday, every other Saturday: 2:30-10:30pm

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: 2:30-10:30pm

Both are required to work one Sunday a month, 7am-11pm.

We are looking for a substance use disorder specialist with talent or experience in treatment, and leadership. Telos is developing a specialty team dedicated to helping students with more acute SUD needs. The Seven Challenges will be the framework that guides treatment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Participate in healthy recreation with clients

Form inspiring relationship of trust that encourage healthy living

Primarily responsible for the safety and supervision of students

Helps clients implement therapy skills in day-to-day living

Transportation of students

Communicate and document observations with clients

Work to assist clients with treatment goalsRequirements:

Qualifications:

Experience in treating youth and young adults

Comfortable with a team approach

Willingness to learn Telos systems and approach

Exceptional relationship skills and genuine care and concern for others

A supportive view of the LGBTQ+ community

Must have ability to hold appropriate boundaries

Experience in the residential treatment industry

Experience in recovery work

Full-time
