Position Summary:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for tracking Kenda USA’s shipments from our overseas factories to our USA-based warehouses, validating the accuracy of shipping charges, submitting reviewed freight charges for payment, and for invoicing customers for delivered shipments.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Associates degree in related field is required
Previous shipping experience is preferred, but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of sales and invoicing
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn and utilize ERP system - Sage 100
Accurate data entry and data verification skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and maintain shipping documents
Review ocean freight invoices for accuracy and route to Accounts Payable for payment
Print, track, and file (when necessary) ISFs 10 + 2 US Customs entries for international shipping
Calculate landed costs for each container and apply these costs when processing receipt of goods
Process receipt of goods upon notice of delivery
Process sales invoices to customers for containers delivered from Kenda factories and/or shipped from our warehouses
Scan and file completed deliveries
Research and audit support related to all container transactions
Performs other duties as assigned
Working Condition and Physical Requirements:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical demands of the position are sitting, walking, and constant viewing of the computer screen
No or very limited exposure to physical risk
