Position Overview

AHI Supply is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Buda warehouse team. This individual will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, managing inventory, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and committed to team development and operational efficiency. This individual must be cross trained in all yard functions and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Duties include supervising staff, enforcing safety protocols, operating forklifts, and supporting order fulfillment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support warehouse personnel to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and reconciliation of variances.

Promote and enforce company safety policies, conduct regular safety meetings.

Assign daily tasks, train new hires, and support employee development.

Collaborate with the General Manager and Dispatcher to resolve operational issues promptly.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safe equipment operation.

Communicate with internal teams and customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Assist in loading/unloading and other physical warehouse tasks as needed.

Prepare reports, maintain records, and oversee compliance with company policies.

Operate forklifts to move a variety of materials (e.g., angle iron, mortar, concrete, sandbags.

Perform other tasks assigned to support team operations.

Work Schedule:

Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - until all work is completed. However, due to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines and business demands.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Forklift experience required; must pass an on-site forklift test

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Outlook

Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics operations.

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Experience conducting inventory counts and maintaining warehouse documentation.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and ability to lead safety initiatives.

Comfortable using and operating forklifts, warehouse equipment, and vehicles.

Ability to lift 75+ lbs. regularly; physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing warehouse tasks daily.

Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and leadership skills

Ability to remain organized and manage team priorities effectively

Understanding of warehouse documentation, procedures, and safety standards

Physical Requirements:

This role is active and may involve standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 75 lbs., and occasional lifting of heavier items. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color differentiation, and depth perception.

Computer Use:

This position requires basic personal computer skills but does not require prior professional computer experience.

You must:

Be able to use a mouse and keyboard

Have a basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows

Have a basic familiarity with reading and sending emails in Microsoft Outlook

Tasks you will be trained to do:

Saving, renaming, and moving files in Microsoft Windows

Scanning documents

Data entry into pre-made Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
