Valley Cabinet Inc. is looking for a 1st shift Shipping Associate!

Starting at $17 an hour based on experience! With pay raise opportunities at 6 months and 12 months of employment!

Work Schedule: Schedules will vary based on workload

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm & Friday: 6:00am - Noon

What you will do:

A Shipping Associate is responsible for the quality assurance and packaging of cabinet doors and related components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and package the product for shipment and/or customer pick up according to company specifications.

Organize, prioritize, and prepare shipments per schedule.

Skid and wrap boxed product/containers.

Table saw and vertical saw operation

Use of computer to enter shipping information

Ensure work orders are completed successfully, on-time, and meet customer specifications.

Work efficiently while paying attention to detail.

Keep the work area clean and organized.

Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.

Participate and contribute to a “Team” environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:

No required education or job experience.

Ability to learn and retain on the job training.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.

Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.

Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Stand for extended periods of time.

Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity.

Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas.
