Inventory Control Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory specialist is responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory of the company. Key functionsincludethe administrative responsibilities of data capture on inventory to each topping line. Will be first point of contact for all material entering and exiting production facility and responsible to ensure accurate capture of all lot traceability information.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities:

VerifyallmaterialbeingbroughttolinematchesBOMrecipeinsystem.Alertnecessary management if incorrect product is brought.

Evaluate expiration ofproductsandhelpmaintainproperlotrotation

Verifycounts andlot traceabilityinformation ofmaterial toproduction floor

Performinventorymovementincompaniesinventorysystem

Verifythat allmaterial returnedhas correctlabel andidentified properly

Analyzes daily consumption of products from production.

Ensurethatall Safetyrules, OSHArequirementsand CompanyPolicies arefollowed.

AllstaffareresponsibleforCompliancewithallGMP,FoodSafetyandPlantSafetyruleswhile in the processing facility.Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.

Otherduties asassignedby Management.QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS:

Abilitytofollowwork instructionandkeeppaceofinventoryisrequired.Individualmusthave thoroughunderstandingofinventorypoliciesand procedures. Individual must have at least 3 years working in a warehouse environment with experience with cycle counts. Effective communication skills are needed to support inventory team.This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Individual must have good computerskillsandbeabletoworkinaninventorysystem. Theindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialjobduty and responsibility satisfactorily.

50%of timesitting at a desk and working on acomputer.

Lift up to 50 lbs.
