CNC Lathe Machinist: Montgomery, Illinois

Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting CNC Lathe Machinists to work full-time on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities of the CNC Lathe Machinist:

Set up and operate lathe machines for precision machining.

Read blueprints and follow work instructions to meet specifications.

Inspect parts using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.

Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and accuracy.

Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure proper operation.

CNC Lathe Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of machining practices

Have mechanical aptitude and be able to read blue prints.

Follow work instructions including set/up guidelines and routing documents.

Possess basic mathematical skills.

Be familiar with various gages and micrometers

Basic knowledge of G and M code.

Pay for CNC Lathe Machinist: Starting at $19.50-$29/hour.
