We have an opening in our Tulsa office. The role of Medical Assistant requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an approved Medical Assistant Education Program or Certification preferred. Two (2) year minimum of CMA experience preferred. Must have demonstrated administrative, problem solving and consultation skills including a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated work experience with children and adults in the mental health or related social service field.
The starting hourly rate for Registered Medical Assistant is $18.37
The starting hourly rate for an Non-Certified Medical Assistant is $ 16.77

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work well under time restraints of the prescribers' schedule.
Ability to accurately operate the vitals machine.
Ability to accurately operate the weight measurement scale.
Ability to develop and coordinate weekly schedule with Intake & Engagement Program Manager.
Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality guidelines for interactions regarding client information.
Ability to communicate clearly to interact with staff, clients, administration, and the community both in person, on the telephone, and in writing.
Ability to establish working relationships with clinical, administrative, and support staff in order to develop professionalism and coordination within the team.
Example of Position Responsibilities:
Collection of accurate client vital signs, weight, and laboratory specimens and entry into EHR.
Distribution of client satisfaction surveys, provider change forms, other client generated forms and submit to Intake & Engagement program manager following agency procedure.
Assist the Intake & Engagement program manager in troubleshooting medication clinic administrative prescriber issues.
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms on behalf of medical prescribers.
Assist with the day-to-day coordination of med client care (greeting and rooming clients, control of client flow, monitor and maintain waiting areas to ensure clean and comfortable environment, etc.).
Coordinate refill request between prescribers, client, and/or pharmacy as directed by medication prescribers.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Medication Clinic Program Director and Clinical Director.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs.
