Salary:
Title: Intake Specialist
Reports to: Senior Manager of Weatherization
Job Summary: Develops potential home weatherization and healthy homes opportunities through contact with homeowners, tenants and landlords with an emphasis on multi-family units.
Job Responsibilities:
Identifies and engage sources of the following categories:
Property Managers and tenants of multi-family units
Homeowners, tenants and landlord on a routine basis
Faith-based organizations
Establishes strong relationships with potential referral partners and maintain regular contacts for purposes of providing energy efficiency service information and soliciting referrals
Advocates for energy savings and weatherization issues for the low income and disadvantaged
Ensures client satisfaction by resolving and responding to participant issues and requests
Collect client documentation and create a client file which includes the following items:
Application
Social Security Cards (all individuals in household)
Income Verification (HEAP, Social Security, Wages and/or Utility Assistance)
Utility Bills
Landlord Tenant Agreement (Contact person for landlord)
Franklin County Auditor demographic (Address, Owner, Square footage)
Process Applications
Schedule Inspection
Collaboration with Lowe's
Excel track record of appliance purchase and measurement of space where appliance will be stored
Create PA's for fiscal record
File all documentation
Verify, check and reconcile submitted weekly intake reports of eligible weatherization clients, appliance purchases and measurements of the space where appliance will be stored and enter into excel database
Accurately input dwelling information such as client demographics, assessment data, and appliance delivery in OCEAN and generate monthly reports of both programs
Other duties as assigned
Inventory Specifics:
Assists with clerical and administrative functions that support the weatherization department such as inventory, logistics, tracking data, and other related functions.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Standard office environment. Requires ability to sit, move about and operate telephone and personal computer for extended periods of time.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in social work or related field or equivalent knowledge/experience
Two years' experience in a community development/practice position with responsibility for customer service
Ohio Driver's License, reliable transporation, and ability to meet Agency's transportation insurance requirements
