We are an independent movie studio headquartered in Hollywood. We produce and sell our own movies and additionally provide full-cycle production, post, and delivery services for independent feature films, streamers, and global distribution partners.

As we scale our slate of productions and prepare to activate a significant credit facility, we’re hiring a Head of Finance to lead all aspects of financial operations, reporting, institutional relationships, and directly report to the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial leader of the company, overseeing company-wide financial health and reporting

Serve as our representative to an institutional credit facility.

Essential Financial Modeling Skills, Must have to apply:

• Lead financial oversight of our corporate credit facility and borrowing base structure.

• Build, manage, and update monthly borrowing base reports for our lending partners.

• Coordinate collateral substantiation and loan compliance.

• Create and manage multi-year forecasts, including “ultimate” cash flows for film and TV slates.

• Perform modeling to evaluate tax credit monetization, gap financing, and project-level ROI.

• Develop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including lender-facing and internal statements.

• Prepare reports for external CPA firms and coordinate annual audits.

Required Experience

• CFO, Head of Finance, or VP of Finance role at an independent production company or film/TV studio.

• Hands-on experience managing a credit facility—either single-project or corporate—including borrowing base reporting.

• Experience with film finance modeling, including tax credits, gap loans, and ultimate cash flow projections.

• Proven track record sending financial reports to banks and coordinating with external accounting and audit teams.

• Strong fluency in production accounting workflows and reporting requirements.

• Experience acting in a controller or financial reporting capacity at the studio level.

• (Preferred but not required) Past experience as a line producer, production accountant, or other production-side financial role.

Production Finance Oversight:

• Interface with line producers, post supervisors, and production teams to track budgets, costs, and capital drawdowns.

• Ensure compliance with financing agreements, investor terms, and accounting standards.
