About the role: Our tech stack consists of Ruby, Angular and Terraform. You are an expert (8+ years) in Ruby and/or Typscript fullstack web application development. As a Fullstack Engineer at Noldor, you will build highly scalable distributed solutions. We believe in clean code.
We are looking for an experienced Ruby Fullstack Engineer, a problem-solver who thrives in the collaborative environment of a small engineering team at a tech startup. You have experience collaborating on an enterprise architectural vision with product and senior leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Craft and enhance user-facing features across the full stack
Forge reusable code and libraries
Collaborate with designers to turn UI/UX into a technical masterpiece
Optimize for peak performance and scalability
Champion collaboration with engineering, product and leadership
Guard quality by writing tests frequently; following engineering best practices
Who You Are:
You have 8+ years of experience working as a software engineer
You have experience working in a startup environment
You are experienced in Ruby and TypeScript
You are open to frameworks like Ruby on Rails and Angular
You don’t panic when tackling problems and can find a productive path forward
You can effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
You have an interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows & philosophies
You evangelize what good engineering looks like
