Maintenance Technician – Delaware-based Company

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program for all machinery.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, including CNC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Maintain a detailed maintenance history for each machine, including parts used.

Diagnose issues with CNC routers, turret presses, punch presses, brakes, and shears.

Operate forklifts and scissor lifts upon qualification.

Work flexible hours as needed, including occasional nights and weekends.

Ensure compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety regulations when working on machinery and equipment.

Apply continuous improvement principles by utilizing Lean methodologies within the company.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Strong communication skills to interact with office and plant personnel effectively.

Advanced expertise in CNC routers, turret presses, punch presses, brakes, and shears.

Professional experience liaising with vendors and contractors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Previous leadership or management experience preferred.

Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
