Dunavant Trans Gulf is one of 7 business entities under the Enterprise and strategically has positioned truck terminals close to many of major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps. We provide private Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Business development focusing on intermodal drayage and be an integral driver in business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
Develop direct relationships with the customers.
Guide, develop and secure incremental revenue and market share from new business and existing accounts to achieve profitable volume growth consistent with revenue goals.
Work with our Customer Care team to successfully onboard and secure new customers.
Job Qualifications
Drayage sales preferred. Minimum of 2 years transportation/logistics sales experience.
Successful history in sales and business development
Strong business acumen
Exceptional oral/written communication skills.
Confident, decisive with strong negotiation, problem solving and closing skills.
Efficient in working with current technology and software.
Skills
The required skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, which will be utilized to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with customers and clients. Leadership skills will be crucial for driving performance. Additionally, strategic thinking will be employed to develop innovative approaches that align with company objectives. Preferred skills, such as proficiency in Customer Relationship Management software, Outlook, etc. will enhance the efficiency of tracking leads and managing client interactions.
