Controller / Warehouse Environment

Job Description

Well known company is searching for a Controller who will have at least 5 years of supervisory experience. You will be responsible for all areas of Accounting and Payroll Processing along with financial relationships, company asset management and maintaining all regulatory compliance. This is a direct-hire, on premise position Mon-Fri. Competitive benefits and bonus program are available after 90 days.

Some unique aspects of this role vs. "normal" Controller responsibilities are:

Manage all A/P, A/R and Payroll processing (125 employees)

Manage cashflow, commercial insurance, regulatory compliance for 401k, loans, and external relationships (Banking/Lending/Tax, etc.)

Keep abreast of company financial condition including monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports

Supervise the accounting staff including coaching and counseling

Other projects as required

Education, Experience, and other Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

Minimum or 10 years in an accounting/finance position preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role

Very strong analytical and decision making skills

ERP Software Experience in addition to MS Office Suite and Paylocity preferred

Experience working with multiple legal entities or businesses

Proven experience with process improvement or automation preferred

Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with several locations

Self motivated and willing to go the "extra mile"
