We're building a high-performance operations team to scale with demand—and we're looking for a Field Technician Supervisor to lead our frontline service and installation efforts.

About the Role:

As the Field Technician Supervisor, you'll lead and support our team of field technicians across installations, service calls, and repairs. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of all fieldwork while serving as a point of contact for both internal teams and external vendors. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires technical knowledge, organizational skills, and experience managing cross-state vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

•Supervise and manage daily activities of field technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of installations, service, and repairs.

•Coordinate job scheduling and technician routing for all projects.

•Perform field visits to support team members, troubleshoot issues, and oversee complex installs.

•Ensure compliance with Texas security regulations and maintain licensing requirements.

•Provide onboarding, technical training, and ongoing mentorship to field staff.

•Collaborate with out-of-state installation and service partners to maintain consistent standards and communication.

•Maintain close communication with customers and property staff during project execution.

•Provide accurate estimates for access control repairs using QuickBooks, in coordination with the operations and accounting teams.

•Enforce safety standards and conduct quality control inspections.

•Work closely with the operations and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions between departments.

•Use Salesforce to manage job tracking, customer records, and field service coordination.

Qualifications:

•Must hold a valid Texas Private Security License (or be eligible and willing to obtain immediately).

•5+ years of experience in access control, low-voltage systems, or commercial security systems.

•5+ years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or training role.

•Solid knowledge of access control hardware, wiring, controllers, and system configuration.

•Experience working with and managing out-of-state vendors or subcontractors.

•Familiarity with creating estimates, quotes, or invoices using QuickBooks Online.

•Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

•Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.

•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; travel may be required.

Bonus Points:

•Experience in the multifamily housing industry.

•Familiarity with Gatewise access control systems.

•Bilingual in English/Spanish.

•Experience developing SOPs and technical training materials.

•Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM/field management software.
