Director, Sales and Marketing
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage and grow relationships with National Accounts (Chains and Wholesalers), and Payers/PBM’s when necessary.
Contract Negotiation & Market Access: Negotiate Supply Agreements/Contracts to secure favorable formulary positions and supply terms, ensuring broad patient access for retail products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as the Founders/Owners, Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory Affairs and Finance to align strategies and execute activities and operations effectively.
Sales & Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, providing them with product information, support, and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
Education: Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in generic pharmaceutical Marketing, Sales/National Account Management, with direct experience in managing large, complex accounts.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of generic pharmaceutical products, market access dynamics, key decision makers/Buyers, payer landscapes, and generic healthcare regulations.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to analyze data and market trends.
Travel: Willingness to travel domestically. conferences, conventions and client visits as required.Company Description
