Flight Controls Engineer

Job Description

Review existing flight control requirements against the new freighter program requirement attributes in accordance with program Development Assurance process documentation.

Assess the requirements in relation to aircraft and system-level changes to determine if they should be classified as changed/affected or unchanged.

Evaluate the requirements using program-level guidance to classify them as functional or nonfunctional.

Analyze the requirements against the system safety analysis and program guidance to determine whether they are safety applicable or nonapplicable — including referencing the relevant sections of the safety analysis that justify each safety applicable requirement.

Identify and define the appropriate verification methods for any changed/affected requirements.

Update the new attributes within DOORS accordingly and review the results with the technical team.Company Description
