Mechanical Superintendent (Solar)

Job Description

NCW is looking for a Solar Mechanical Superintendent with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to lead the mechanical scope of our utility-scale solar installation in Pennsylvania. Per diem will be offered for travelers.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all mechanical work including racking, module installation, and trackers

Supervise on-site crews and subcontractors to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals

Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and inspectors

Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and project-specific safety protocols

Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and ensure top-tier execution

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction experience in utility-scale solar

Strong knowledge of solar racking and tracking systems

Proven leadership in field supervision roles

OSHA 30 Certification preferred

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
