Automation Technician

Job Description

Seeking an Automation Technician specializing in stamping press machine, robotics, and PLCs would troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated production systems, including stamping press machine, robotics, and PLC controlled equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Collaborating with engineers and other team members to identify areas for improvement for stamping press, robotic systems, and automated processes and implement solutions.

Creating short-term and long-term countermeasures to prevent the recurrence of root cause.

Documentation:

Create, update, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any issues encountered. troubleshooting procedures.

Receive training on the production line from an operator to gain a thorough understanding of machinery operation.

Undergo technical training from engineers to learn the technical aspects of the role.

Equipment Responsibility:

Adjusting high precision stamping presses, automatic cleaning machine, automatic inspection machines, automatic packing machines and related equipment to produce parts according to specifications.

This includes being able to perform and understand in detail the set-up and operation of stamping press, robotics, and associated automated equipment.

Calibrate and adjust robotic systems and PLC-controlled equipment to optimize performance and accuracy.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with robotic systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and automated production equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections, to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

Assist with the setup and changeover of stamping dies and equipment for different types.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of robotics, PLC programming, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.

Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve operations.

Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, both verbally and in writing.
