C5T is looking for a System Analyst Level III, for a challenging position as part of the large team supporting the Single Mobility System (SMS), which is USTRANSCOM's primary Command and Control (C2) system used to view requirements, plan missions, and track execution. The selected candidate will possess significant experience analyzing technical data processing problems, user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate or improve computer systems. The successful candidate will provide operations and training support to the Global Operations Center (GOC), USTRANSCOM Component Commands, and users in support of SMS operation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operations Support to the Global Operations Center (GOC), USTRANSCOM Component Commands, and global user community in support of SMS operation.

Gather functional requirements to support emergent user needs; via phone, email, or in person and assist the users in refinement of the requirement to facilitate development.

Provide exercise support to assist Global Operations Center personnel in SMS operation to meet exercise mission requirements.

Act on user system issue reports, document software issues, and submit software bugs reports as required.

Mine data from various DoD ITV systems to analyze results for data inconsistencies or, if none found, help resolve user concerns over accuracy.

Act as the Subject Matter Expert between user requirements and development team.

Qualifications:

Knowledgeable in the surface, air and land movement of DoD cargo and passengers, including policies, processes and procedures.

Understanding JOPES, with ability to identify JOPES data elements.

Experience with the following systems: GDSS, IGC, IBS, JOPES, and SMS, or its data.

Operational experience in some capacity of DoD movement of cargo and passengers.

Knowledgeable with experience training, on-line or in-person classroom, is a plus.

Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work on-site at Scott AFB, IL.

Displays a customer-centric attitude with a high level of energy and sense of urgency.

Strong team and collaborative orientation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Strong time-management and task prioritization skills required.

Willingness and ability to learn new technologies as needed.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Experience providing operations support to DoD IT programs, SMS is a plus.

Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.).

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or another relevant field is required.

8 years' experience in the same or similar role.

Current SMS program experience preferred.

Secret Level Security Clearance - The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

US Citizenship/Work Eligibility: This position requires a candidate who is either a current US Citizen or has appropriate paperwork to show eligibility for full-time work in the US.
