POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirements. Own the reporting on key metrics associated with Global Supply Capabilities. Own new product set-up and maintenance for Mechanix Wear products in the designated ERP system. Own inventory transfers and packaging materials to fill orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Supply Support

Assist with and make recommendations on detailed and comprehensive global analysis on material costs and identify opportunities for bulk discounts or cost savings from suppliers

Monitor variances and recommend process improvements

Track inventory trends and provide insight on any deviations

Carry out routine inventory control audits and support inventory checks to validate accuracy

Communicate with stakeholders sharing reports, updates and analysis to aid decisions and optimize operational efficiency

Execute and support materials planning activities and to drive best practice results

Work towards and support a culture of continuous improvement and work to make business and department improvements wherever possible

Report on and assist in the review of opportunities for item transfers globally to fill current order needs.

Report on and work with sales and Warehouse to fill back orders and update the customers on when product will be available.

Monitor Cancellations and opportunities to avoid cancellations - report out on recovery and options

Manage analysis and requests for expedited transportation options to promote improved fill rates and assist in the coordination of order fulfillment

Item Master Maintenance

Set-up new products for Mechanix Wear into current ERP system (P21 and SAP by Design). Work with product development, supply chain, marketing, and customer support as needed to gather required information for complete product set-up in Glove Haus and GDSN Management.

Maintain all product system hierarchies and data integrity (P21, SAP, Catalyst, Glove Haus, GDSN Management, Salsify)

Creation of UPCs and GTINs

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

Technical Requirements:

Associates degree required. B.A. in Business or Supply Chain preferred.

APICS/ASCM Certifications preferred

3-5 Years supply planning experience

Knowledge of Global Supply Chain, combining functional and technical expertise to impact customer experience.

Proficiency in the use of Windows-based programs with proficiency in MS Excel.

Knowledge of ERP systems, product set-up requirements.

Familiar with material supply planning, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain operations.
