Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour
$1000 New Employee Sign-on Bonus
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Cycle Counter at Cornerstone Building Brands you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the integrity of our materials management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of data systems and financial analysis, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across various departments in a fast paced, physically demanding and dynamic environment.
Performing Cycle Counts: Counting and recording inventory levels for specific items or areas within the window manufacturing facility
Inventory Reconciliation: Comparing counted quantities with system records and identifying discrepancies
Root Cause Analysis: Investigating reasons for inventory variances and making recommendations for improvement
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments in the company's inventory management system
Collaboration: Working with other departments like shipping, production, and quality control to ensure inventory accuracy
Equipment Usage: May involve operating material handling equipment like forklifts to move and count inventoryQualifications
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for ensuring the integrity of inventory records
Strong organizational skills are needed to manage the cycle counting process and maintain records
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is helpful
Experience with inventory management software (AS400) and other inventory data systems is a plus
Physical stamina and ability to work in a manufacturing environment required
