Production Technician â Laser Operator / Handwork

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Technician â Laser Operator & Handwork opportunity in Blaine, MN. This role involves operating laser marking and engraving equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment in a clean, organized environment. Ideal candidates will have previous CNC machine experience and a willingness to learn advanced laser operations. This position offers growth potential in a stable, supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laser marking and engraving operations following customer specifications and documentation.

Select correct engraving programs and fixtures for each job.

Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment.

Follow all safety, process, and procedural instructions accurately and consistently.

Enter basic data and navigate marking programs on the computer.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a valid Green Card.

Previous CNC machine experience required; CNC programming experience preferred.

Basic computer literacy.

Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift

Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.

Clear communication skills and attention to detail.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.

Working Conditions:

Able to use computer hardware and software daily.

Regular lifting up to 10 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Use of small hand tools during laser setup and adjustments.

Must be able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, and bend for up to 8 hours per shift.

Clean, indoor, controlled manufacturing environment.
