Branson Fire & Rescue is looking for a motivated, service-minded individual to join our team
as a Fire Prevention Officer Trainee!
To join our crew, you'll need:
A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Skills & Experience - What sets you apart
Current certification by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety or International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) in the following: Firefighter I, NIMS 100 200, 700 and 800;
Fire Instructor I, and Fire Investigator. Thiswill be required to obtain within six (6) months of the hire date.
Fire Inspector I certification. This will be required to obtain within 12 months of the hire date.
Certification in NIMS 300. This will be required to obtain within 18 months of the hire date.
Certification as a Medical First Responder. This will be required to obtain within 18 months of the hire date.
Certification as a Missouri Emergency Medical Technician is preferred.
Experience working with the public in an inspection/education role is preferred.
