About the Community:
The Palms on Westheimer is a 798-unit apartment community undergoing a full renovation and rebrand in the heart of Houston’s Galleria area. With a focus on improving the resident experience and transforming the community image, we are seeking a strong, hands-on Leasing Manager to lead our leasing efforts, drive occupancy, and support long-term success.
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and organized Leasing Manager who leads by example, holds their team accountable, and brings a proactive approach to improving leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and online reputation. This person must be bilingual (English and Spanish), thrive in a fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of delivering a consistent, genuine, and results-driven leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, support, and hold the leasing team accountable to daily and weekly goals.
Personally lease units by giving tours, following up with prospects, and closing deals.
Coach the team to treat every prospect as a “secret shop” opportunity while staying authentic in their sales approach.
Monitor leasing phone calls for quality assurance and provide coaching to improve closing ratios and customer service.
Build and maintain local business relationships to support outreach marketing efforts.
Lead social media and marketing initiatives to increase visibility and generate traffic.
Actively contribute to improving Google ratings, online reviews, and overall online reputation.
Partner with the Community Manager to create strategies for resident retention and satisfaction.
Maintain organized leasing files, accurate reporting, and team performance tracking.
Work rotating weekends and be flexible with scheduling to meet property needs.
Communicate professionally and fluently in both English and Spanish, including reading and writing.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of apartment leasing experience; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Bilingual – English and Spanish required (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proven ability to lead a team, stay organized, and hit leasing goals.
Confident in outreach marketing and social media engagement.
Passion for customer service and resident retention.
Experience monitoring and coaching leasing calls is a plus.
Must be outgoing, reliable, and results-driven.
Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Experience with OneSite and Knock is a plus.
