Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Answer phones and greet all patients with a warm and welcoming attitude.

Efficiently check patients in; confirm necessary forms are complete.

Schedule existing patients ensuring compliance with practice procedures and protocols.

Review, understand and collect patient copays and balances.

Triage and escalate patient concerns to clinical and practice leadership appropriately

Provide support to clinical teams including; schedule changes/follow-up, patient discharge process and retention/reactivation

Proactively manage the daily/weekly scheduling activities including: phone calls, email inquiries, general logistics, etc. Maintain accurate schedules and notes in our electronic health record (EHR).

Complete insurance verifications

Responsible for the end of day process (TBD)

Ensure all intake paperwork is accurately completed and co-pays are collected before the patient meets with the clinician.

Work extensively within the Company's electronic health record (EHR) to manage client and clinician workflow, scheduling activities, billing initiatives, and other practice management functions.

Communicate timely and professionally with patients regarding any services required.

Provide outstanding customer service to all including patients, co-workers, referrals and vendors. We want to be known for our outstanding service and this position leads the way.

Ensure that charge capture and other related data are accurate and submitted in a timely manner by means of the designated reporting system.

Build a rapport with patient and/or patient's family and referring providers to ensure support is provided.

Along with Practice Manager, manage and support the patient journey and patient engagement.

Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal Regulations for client care and services (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, or other governing agencies)

Be a champion of Sol Mental Health; represent the organization with pride in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Positively contribute to the team and company culture, leading with empathy and a team-player mindset

Meet productivity metrics/goals.

Job Requirements & Skills

Serving others must excite and light a fire within you - you couldn't imagine operating any other way.

Experience working within a physician practice or healthcare services is preferred. Working knowledge of insurance plans; group health, HMO, PPO, etc is helpful

High level of professionalism in all aspects of work; especially in all communications internally and externally

Able to effectively manage difficult situations and de-escalate issues that arise.

Ability to interact and work professionally and effectively with a diverse population

Highly organized and able to juggle many tasks at once

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products and ability to learn clinic operations technology systems

Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures

Strong work ethic, passionate and enthusiastic personality with a high degree of integrity, humility, and a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able effectively communicate over the phone.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation: $24-$25 DOE
