Who We’re Looking For:
This position provides technical support for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software. Responsibilities include installing and configuring system and application components across Windows and Linux platforms, as well as managing updates and enhancements for existing software systems and introducing new technical solutions as needed.
This role involves collaborating with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to assess requirements, recommend secure and effective solutions, and implement changes. The role requires adherence to Federal, State, and industry security standards and participation in cross-functional teams to achieve project goals in a timely manner.
Candidates should have expertise in maintaining COTS applications and making configuration changes to Software as a Service (SaaS) products as required. A strong foundation in troubleshooting, system monitoring, network and firewall configuration, architectural diagramming, and vulnerability remediation is also essential.
Interview format: In-person (candidates must be available for an in-person interview)
Duration: 1 year, with a possible extension
Work arrangement: Hybrid – onsite presence required from day one, two days per week in Lansing, MI. Candidates must reside within a 2-hour commute of Lansing, MI at the time of application.
Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience for the following:
Installing and configuring systems and application components in both Windows and Linux environments.
Gathering and documenting requirements, researching and evaluating options, and analyzing and recommending solutions for ongoing application updates and new initiatives.
Proficiency with the following tools and technologies: Windows Server Administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace or similar debugging tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), LAN/WAN networks, systems architecture, firewalls, IoT technologies, etc.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in supporting Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring tools, networks, firewalls, infrastructure architecture (including diagramming), vulnerability remediation, and general application/server support tasks.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $60 and $65. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
