Job Title: Locum Gastroenterologist

Join our dedicated team in Bay City, Michigan, where we are currently seeking skilled Gastroenterologists for locum positions. With an ongoing need for coverage through 2025, this opportunity offers a 24-hour call coverage schedule, Monday 7 am to Friday 7 pm, with no weekend commitments. Located in a small town that boasts big city amenities, our facility provides a welcoming environment, complemented by waterfront activities and local attractions. Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour call coverage, following the outlined schedule.

Perform ERCP procedures as required.

Collaborate with hospitalist support and local colorectal surgeons.

Conduct outpatient services at the gastroenterology clinic, less than half a mile from the hospital.

Ensure high-quality patient care throughout your practice. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology (no exceptions for board eligibility).

Active Michigan medical licensure necessary.

ERCP competency required.

Preferred to have local providers.

No history of malpractice claims.

Ability to meet all health requirements and vaccinations as listed. License and Certification Requirements:

Active Michigan medical license (IMLC accepted with requirements).

DEA registration required by start date.

All relevant vaccinations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, TB) must be current.
