POSITION SUMMARY: Performs material handling & plant-wide housekeeping duties. Keeping trash emptied floors clean, dry and keeping equipment in plant clean.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: List primary duties and responsibilities of the job in order of importance and with percentage of time spent on each duty / responsibility. If this is a management level position, include supervisory responsibilities.
Cleaning of equipment in Plant. (McNeil’s, VO’s and Mixers)
Dumping trash, sweeping and mopping floors.
Mixing solutions for moldline and finishing.
Neutralizing PH
Paint equipment as needed.
Assist and relieve other general helpers as directed.
Performs general cleaning, housekeeping required to keep workstations operational and unobstructed.
Moves material from area to area as assigned by Supervisor.
Operates lift or carrying devices as needed.
Use good housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
Performs other duties, as assigned based on business needs.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: List required education level and/or equivalent experience and any required skills or certifications consistent with West’s leveling guidelines.
Education: High School or equivalent
Experience: 0-3 years of experience
Training of mixing solutions used on moldline, finishing training for neutralizing PH (PEP II Area) and forklift license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: List any preferred education, skills, and/or experience.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: List type of work environment (office, home, etc…), % of travel required or any other relevant working conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
