Harvest Cellar Intern

Horse Heaven Wine Company is looking for an intern for the 2025 harvest.

We are a winery located in Prosser, WA.

This will be a unique opportunity to work alongside our winemaker and learn all things harvest related from grape receiving to various fermentation techniques.

This position will run from August to December 2025.Duties will include but are not limited to:\tCleaning and sanitation\tGrape receiving and processing\tBarrel work, including filling, emptying and topping\tForklift operation\tDaily pumpovers and punchdown\tChemical additionsThe ideal candidate would possess the following:\t21 years of age\tPrevious harvest experience\tStrong work ethic\tAbility to follow written instructions\tAbility to work as a team or individually depending on the day\tBe reliable and punctual\tInterest in wine\tWillingness to work extended hours\tAttention to detail\tPassion for qualityPhysical Requirements:\tAbility to stand for extended periods of time\tAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds\tAbility to climb stairs\tAbility to work in an environment that can be wet, cold or warmWork schedule will be 40 hrs/week to start.

When harvest picks, hours will change to 6 x 10-hour days/week.

Overtime included.Salary range is $18 - $22/hour DOE.

Overtime eligible.
