Local Contract CRNA - Anesthesia

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a CRNA Anesthesia for a local contract job in Sioux City, Iowa.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: AnesthesiaDiscipline: CRNADuration: 20 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: Local Contract July 1 StartMinimum 20 weeks – but facility will take year long contractsCRNA - no call, no OT4x10s (mon-thurs is 1 position) (tues-fri is the other).- 7a-5p They utilize Epic – Epic exp preferred, not neededOnly hospital, no outpatient What you will do:• Performs a preoperative patient assessment.• Determines a plan of care and communicates the plan of care to the patient and family.• Establishes and maintains essential venous access.• Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway.• Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring.• Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.• Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.• Performs post-operative follow-up for each case performed.• Perform as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students• Perform epidural and spinal placement for obstetrical cases.• Perform nerve block procedures for pain control.

Facility will cover any housing/travel costs.
