Job Details
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO/IATF-compliant Quality Systems
Supervise and support quality assurance teams across mass production lines
Conduct and verify internal process audits to ensure compliance
Analyze internal KPIs and initiate corrective actions as needed
Oversee quality documentation and ensure accurate distribution across departments
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in real time
Guide and improve internal systems for defect prevention and process control
Respond to customer inquiries on quality issues, policies, and compliance
Develop and deliver internal quality training
Support SPC monitoring and capability studies (e.g., CPK)
Interpret technical data, blueprints, and reports with a high degree of accuracy
Participate in physical inventory and other special projects as assigned
Requirements
5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, with 2+ years in a leadership role
Solid experience in Automotive Manufacturing environments (IATF16949)
Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and documentation skills
Experience with ISO and QS standards
Licensed driver with the ability to travel occasionally (including overnight stays)
Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
Able to work overtime as needed
Nice to Haves
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience in injection molding and Tier 1 automotive supplier environments
Familiarity with SPC tools and CPK calculations
Exposure to OEM-level quality standards
Hands-on experience with quality audits and training programs
