Job Description
An automotive parts distributor in the Indianapolis area is seeking a temporary warehouse associate for a two-month contract on the first shift. The role involves handling materials and operating forklifts in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Stage orders for delivery and outbound shipping.
Pick up used bumpers and stack them on a jig.
Palletize bumpers for Chrysler, with 54 bumpers per pallet and 7 pallets per truck.
Shrink wrap areas as needed.
Regularly use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure order quality.
Unload inbound freight using forklifts or pallet jacks.Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts and using RF scanners.
Experience in material handling and order picking.
Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack efficiently.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.Work Environment
This position is located in a small but growing warehouse operation in Indianapolis. Due to increasing demand from Stellantis in Kokomo, the environment is dynamic and fast-paced. The warehouse is heated but lacks air conditioning; during summer months, fans are used throughout the warehouse and bay doors are opened for ventilation.

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
