Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our team. This role involves picking, packing, and shipping products to customers, as well as replenishing inventory using a kan-ban system. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing RF scanners to locate items, accurately picking quantities, verifying shipping documents, and packaging shipments. Additionally, you will assist material handlers in replenishing production materials and respond to part shortage requests.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship end products to customers.
Utilize RF scanners to locate items in the stock room.
Accurately pick quantities of product and verify shipping documents.
Package shipments and assist material handlers in replenishing production materials.
Lift up to 35 lbs and work from 7am to 3:30pm.
Replenish inventory in production cells using a kan-ban system.
Respond to part shortage requests via alarm calls or empty kan-ban boxes on production lines.
Locate and accurately pick products needed for production and deliver them using a push cart.
Assist the shipping department in any assigned duties.Essential Skills
Experience in pick/pack inventory selecting work.
Ability to accurately count inventory.
Strong computer skills.
English proficiency.
Ability to work at a brisk pace, 100% standing and walking.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Competency in shipping & receiving processes, including international shipping.
Proficiency in using shipping software.
Forklift operation certification.
Experience with order fulfillment, stockroom operations, and use of RF scanners.
Ability to perform well on material handler tests involving basic counting, math, and inventory questions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
