Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will operate and maintain machines to ensure production safety and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, participating in colleague training, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining effective communication with your team.
Responsibilities
Operate machines and perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting as required.
Train and be capable of running all machines as instructed.
Perform all material handling related functions.
Load and remove parts from machines.
Communicate promptly with team leaders and mechanics.
Move materials up to 30 lbs as needed.
Perform repetitive operations following standard methods, using judgment to detect and clear misloaded parts.
Detect and remove defective material, following SDN work instructions for non-conforming material.
Ensure a constant flow of components necessary to run machines.
Report unusual conditions or faulty operations to proper supervision in a timely manner.
Complete all required paperwork thoroughly.
Other duties as assigned by team leader and/or superintendent.Essential Skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $17.51/hr.
