Job Title: CNC Brake Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Brake Press Operator to efficiently run bend and forming operations using both standard and custom punches. The role involves operating a CNC controller to input necessary data into the machine, adjusting ram and back gauge locations according to process control instructions and blueprints, and working with tight tolerances to produce parts for assembly operations.

Operate CNC Brake Press machine.
Run bend and forming operations with standard and custom punches.
Input information into the CNC controller.
Adjust ram and back gauge locations as per instructions.
Work with tight tolerances to ensure precision.
Produce parts for assembly operations.Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience in CNC Press Brake Programming.
Proficiency in brake press, press brake, and CNC programming.
Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
Metal fabrication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Fab shop experience on a brake press.
Ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot all aspects of the machine.

Work Environment
This role is based in a custom fabrication and welding shop catering to various client needs. The work environment is small and not climate-controlled, which can result in dusty and loud conditions at times. The standard shift is from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with potential for 60-hour work weeks when required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
