Salary: $18.00-$25.00hr DOE

Express Employment is seeking Tow Truck Operator.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 DOE to start.

Must Haves:

25 years of age for insurance purposes

Valid Driver's License & MVR

Background Check and Drug Screen required

Rotating on-call scheduling required but compensated for!

Day in the life of a tow truck operator:

Communicate with the dispatcher in regards to location.

Connect vehicles to the tow truck- may include using a chain, winch, steering locks, and other devices as well as affixing lights onto the towed vehicle.

Transport disabled vehicle back to the service station or junkyard.

Interact with customers, explaining their automotive problems, potentially diagnosing the cause, and providing necessary assistance.

Communicate well and must have a basic knowledge of cars and automotive parts.

Perform small repairs on the scene of a breakdown such as changing tires, reconnecting parts, or jumpstarting.

Write up reports of services rendered and accept payments.

Maintain a professional appearance and keep a clean, organized truck.

Experience in operating a tow truck preferred, but will train the right person!
