Job Description

The Spray Technician is responsible for performing HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations according to customer requirements and job folder specifications. This role requires a meticulous approach to reviewing job folders to verify the areas of parts that need to be masked, cleaned, blasted, and coated, ensuring all pre-coating requirements are completed. The Spray Technician will follow in-process inspection procedures to verify that operations meet customer and technical plan requirements, recording and signing off on all applicable data.

Responsibilities

Perform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements.

Review job folders to verify parts' areas to be masked, cleaned, blasted, and coated.

Confirm completion of all pre-coating requirements as specified in job folders.

Follow in-process inspection procedures to ensure operations meet customer and technical requirements.

Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.Essential Skills

Experience with machine operation in coating, welding, robotic welding, or CNC is required.

Ability to perform setups and changeovers of new products and program machines to specification.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings is a plus.

Previous experience as a Spray Technician is advantageous.

Working experience in a production environment with the capability to learn thermal spray processes.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
