Job Title: Machine Operator (Pack, Load, Ship)
Job Description
This role involves operating machines efficiently and safely during night shifts from 6pm to 6am. You will receive a shift premium of $1.00/hour extra for shift differential and be eligible for quarterly profit sharing after six months of employment.
Responsibilities
Operate assigned equipment or machine safely and efficiently.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material, or equipment needs.
Lift and stack products effectively.
Maintain efficiency standards for the assigned area.
Ensure good housekeeping of work areas.
Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.Essential Skills
Experience with tape measure.
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs constantly.
Standing on feet for 12 hours.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of work experience; prior manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment
The extrusion area can be very hot, while the PLS area involves heavy industrial work. Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts, standing for the entire duration.

This is a Contract position based out of Cressona, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.43 - $25.43/hr.
